# Documentation search

Search Sumble's official product documentation without downloading or indexing the site yourself. Each result represents one published documentation page and includes its path, title, URL, and a short matching excerpt.

Use a few words or a short question. Search is case-insensitive and accounts for common English word forms, so a query does not need to use the exact wording on the page. BM25 scores the words independently: word order and adjacency do not make an exact phrase match.

The endpoint searches the same pages published on [docs.sumble.com](https://docs.sumble.com). Results contain the published URL so you can cite or open the source directly.
